Please start the Diode-pumped solid-state laser according to the following steps:
1) Remove the covers at the ends of Nd:YAG rod. Check the crystal ends, if there is dust attached to it, please clean it before starting the Diode-pumped solid-state laser module.
2) Position the laser module on the optic rail and make sure that the beam output is in parallel. Position the high reflection(HR) mirror and output coupler(OC) and adjust them with pilot beam into an optical resonator. The distance between HR and OC can be adjusted by users.
3) Connect the cooling water pipe and make sure the water flow is smooth.
4) Connect the matched laser diode driver: red line is with anode, black line is with cathode. The laser module must be driven by professional laser diode driver(we supply matched Diode-pumped solid-state laser driver), if you are using other supplier’s laser diode driver, please contact us in advance to get permission.
5) Connect the protection wire of the water cooler to the laser diode driver, and connect the temperature monitoring signal line ofDiode-pumped solid-state laser module to the laser diode driver.
6) Start the water cooler(adjust the target temperature 20-25℃ ), make sure the water flow rate is enough.
7) Start the laser diode driver, increase the current slowly till the recommended operation current.
8) When the operation is over, please turn down the current slowly till the minimum value, then shut down the laser diode driver, and then shut down water cooler.
